Summary:
Responsible for the supervision of Special Events & Promotions including but not limited to cash and merchandise giveaways, tournaments, and special events.
Also responsible for coordinating and executing all special events and promotions for Harrah's Laughlin and Tropicana including post summary and reporting.
Responsible for maintaining supplies and all event and promotion files.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising the Events & Promotions team.
Work closely with event coordinators and other departments to ensure successful events and promotions.
Communicate all event/promotion information with other departments accurately and in a timely manner.
Assist in development of all events and promotions as well as managing the Marketing calendar.
Proof all direct mail and collateral for events, promotions, and entertainment.
Manage planning, creation and implementation of internal communications including signage and electronic visuals.
Assist with ushering and signage for Entertainment Venues.
Prioritize tasks and use time effectively.
Must be able to speak in front of crowds and use microphone to emcee events and promotionsMust be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies.
Order promotional gifts and supplies for department.
Must be able to work flexible hours and days.
Requires strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Organize and update all department files ensuring proper paperwork is maintained and distributed to necessary departments.
Other duties as assigned by Director of Marketing.
EXPERIENCE/
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing preferred.
Three (3) years of promotion and event experience in the casino industry.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSGaming License, current Driver's License and TAM card.
PHYSICAL & MENTAL DEMANDS:
Lift up to 50 lbs.

Must be able to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and hear.
Dexterity to utilize tools.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
