Summary:
The Poolside Cafe Attendant prepares food, makes salads and sandwiches and serves the food to the customers at the Deli outlet, providing excellent customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSet up Deli prior to opening; Set up display merchandise for saleSet up display table containing pastries, croissants, cereal, etc.
Make sure guest tables and all public areas are cleanHeat ingredients for hot items.
Set up condiment areaPrepare sandwiches to order and serve to guests.
Observe self-serve area and replenish items as necessary.
After closing, store unsold items properly and clean all appliances and counters.
Handle all transactions using a POS system.
Slice pickles, onions, tomatoes, and other vegetables.
Call Supervisor if more supplies or food items need to be replenished.
Answer guest questions regarding menu items.
Other related duties as assigned.
Must be available for scheduled work.
Must exhibit the Thoughtful Service model at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEThree to six months of related experience and/or training in a similar food outlet, hotel or casino atmosphere.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSMust possess and be able to maintain a current Health Card, Liquor License, or other required certifications as required by geographical area of the property.
LANGUAGE SKILLSMust be able to effectively communicate in English.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
COMPUTER SKILLSBasic computer skills required, including knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
REASONING ABILITYRemembering details, discriminating colors, working rapidly, using arithmetic, reading, concentrating amid distractions, examining and observing details.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS Standing, walking, bending/stooping, reaching, observing, stretching, carrying, pushing, pulling, turning, hearing, balancing, lifting up to 25 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT Inside, noisy, odors, changing temperatures, hot, gloves.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
