Summary:
The Cashier ensures the accurate payment of all guest checks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESTakes receipt and payment from guest, processes payment, and returns correct change/credit card receipt.
Provide friendly and courteous service to guests.
Maintains the house bank issued to them, accounting for money in the bank at all times.
Maintains working knowledge of every register in the outlet.
Completes all reports required for end-of-shift.
Must be available for scheduled work.
Must exhibit the Family Service model at all times.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEOne to three months' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS - Health Card LANGUAGE SKILLSMust be able to effectively communicate in English.
Ability to read and write simple correspondences, memos and lists.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to work with weight measurements, volume and distance.
COMPUTER SKILLSMust be able to use a Point-of-Sale system and cash register system accurately, effectively and expediently.
