Job Summary:
Greet guests in a warm, friendly manner. Registers guests into the hotel. Settle guest bills, answer question regarding room charges, in room phone and movie charges. Follow established guidelines and cash handling policies. Accurately answer guest question about property events/promotions, give directions. Try to accommodate guest requests or provide options when they are not available.
Job Description:
Guest registration, blocking special requests when avialable, offer options if they are not available. Preregister reservations.
Settle guest bills.
Handle check in and check out procedures within established Credit/Cash handling policies. Resolve guest complaints.
Anwer questions regarding the property, events, promotions or local attractions.
Troubleshoot in room phone/movie charges.
Balance a cash drawer up to Three Hundred Dollars daily.
Communicate with all departments by phone, email and in person. Answer in-coming calls.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
