Bartender-Reef Bar

Job Description
It is the responsibility of the Bartender to prepare and serve cocktails for servers and/or guests in a courteous and professional manner.
Maintains uniform appearance according to established guidelines.
Adheres to policies and procedures and health and liquor laws.
Knows locations of all Golden Nugget Laughlin outlets and services available to guests.
Greets and converses with guests to suggest or receive cocktail order.
Uses suggestive selling techniques.
Cleans and organizes bar to Beverage Department standards.
Prepares order to replenish stock at bar to pre-determined par levels.
Informs Barback or Bar Porter of needed supplies.
Ensures that all bar items and supplies on-hand are accounted for and secure throughout shift.
inputs orders correctly into the POS system.
Handles money in accordance with Beverage Department policies and procedures.
Picks up cash bank at beginning of shift and returns same at end of shift.
Responsible for balancing cash bank at the end of shift.
Follows established procedures for comps.
Relays all guest compliments and complaints to the manager on duty.
Assists with maintaining a neat, clean, and safe working environment.
Conducts Turnover/Takeover of station according to established procedures.
Completes special projects as requested by Food and Beverage management.

6 months experience.
Minimum age requirement is 21.
Must possess basic mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and understand all policies and procedures.
Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, employees, and members of management in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.

Constant standing, walking 10 ? 20 ft., balancing, twisting, reaching and bending.

Constant mental alertness, remembering/paying attention to/observing details, following directions; concentrating amid distractions.
Occasionally sitting, reaching, lifting up to 30 lbs., carrying, hearing, smelling and kneeling.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
