Barback-Reef Bar

Job Description
JOB PURPOSE:
To supply all Bars and Pump Rooms and remove trash. Assist other Beverage personnel as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Six (6) months experience. High volume hotel/restaurant experience preferred. Must have physical strength and mobility. Ability to communicate with others. Must speak, read, write and understand English.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Completes all set up and stocking of Liquor supplies, glasses, ice in a timely manner according to Golden Nugget Bar Standards and Procedures.
Keep Bar areas, pump rooms, coolers and equipment and supplies clean at all times. Complete end of shift cleaning of all bars and pump rooms.
Fill out required paperwork, bar transfers (liquor) and dry stock deliveries (Napkins, Towels, Straws, etc.).
Follow directions of Bartenders and Apprentice Bartenders according to Departmental Policies.
Deliver ice to bars, as needed. Fill Beer orders from main cooler and also change empty Beer Kegs, as needed. Change Soda & Wine boxes at various pump rooms and bars.
Empty dirty glass bins located throughout the Casino and Bars, bring to the service bar for cleaning.
Adhere to all Company and Departmental policies and procedures.
PHYSICAL/ MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Constantly standing, eye/hand coordination, seeing, hearing, balancing, speaking and bending.
Constantly walking up to distances up to 3 city blocks, several times during shift.
Constantly carrying and lifting up to a maximum of 50 lb. for distances up to 300 ft.
Frequently pushing and pulling carts up to a maximum of 200 lb. for distances up to 3 city blocks, several times during shift.
Frequently stooping, reaching, wrist motion, writing, and reading.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is performed indoors, in a climate controlled environment, with occasional hot & cold temperature changes.
Occasionally must walk outdoors for up to 1 city block during transport of items.
Moderate Noise Levels.
Walk/Stand on Tile/Mats.
Subject to cleaning fumes.
HAZARDS: Heavy lifting, chemical odors.



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
