Buffet Attendant- Part Time

Must be 21 + to work in this position
The Attendant is responsible for ensuring that the buffet looks clean and presentable at all times. Assuring that guests are served, have knowledge of where to get food and drinks. Tables are pre bussed and clean. Floors are clean and safe. Side stations are clean and stocked, cleaning and sanitizing of all kitchen and food prep areas according to company standards.
Prepare workstation/side station, bus carts and tables assigned to you.
Familiarize themselves with daily menu items in the outlet.
Introduce yourself to guests and ensure they are familiar with location of specific food and beverages
Continually check tables in assigned section, removing accumulated dirty dishes from tables as needed. When Guests have completed meal and left table, clean and reset table for next guest. Sweep around tables as needed.
Continually clean and stock assigned side and work stations with needed supplies during your shift, including cleaning and sorting of silverware.
Clean, stock and shut-down side stations, emptying trash, clean and return bus carts to store room at end of shift.
Adhere to cost control methods and procedures as directed by supervisor.
Observe good sanitation and safety procedures.
Work effectively with other employees, guests and supervisors to promote positive employee and guest relations
Must be available for scheduled work.
Must exhibit the Thoughtful Service model at all times.

All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.
No prior experience or training required. Must be able to work with the public, presenting a clean, courteous image.
Must be able to obtain any and all State, Local, and County licenses and/or registrations as required. Health permit/license required.
Must be able to effectively communicate in English to guests and other employees.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
