Job Description
SUMMARY:
To monitor the Financial performance and profitability of all Golden Nugget operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze all Golden Nugget operations.
Proficiency in computer programs and comprehension of overall accounting procedures.
Prepare various financial and operation analyses at the direction of the Controller, and Sr. Vice President/GM of said property.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Four year degree in business Finance or Accounting. Use of personal computer, printers, telephone and ten key.
Minimum age requirement is 21.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Four (4) year degree in Business Finance or Accounting or at least one (1) year of job related experience in the casino industry.
Language Skills:
Must be able to speak and understand English.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Constant physical movements necessary for general office duties: Standing, walking, balancing, eye-hand coordination, fingering, handling, wrist motion, sitting, reaching, carrying, vision, hearing, stooping and twisting.
Constantly walking distances ranging from 45 feet to 200 feet.
Frequently walking distances from 200 feet to 1,200 feet.
Occasionally walking distances greater than 1,200 feet.
Constantly lifting and carrying files and computer printouts weighing from 3 ? 10 lbs.
Frequently lifting and carrying files and computer printouts weighing from 10 ? 25 lbs.
Occasionally lifting and carrying items weighing more than 25 lbs., such as records boxes.
Constant planning, directing others, following directions, reading, writing, using math, discriminating colors, working at various tempos or working rapidly, making decisions, concentrating, remembering, attention to and observing details, and use of ten key and personal computer.
Constant mental alertness to achieve high level of accuracy in completing tasks.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work performed indoors, in climate-controlled environment, with others as well as alone.



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
