Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Inpatient / Outpatient Rehab Nurse Manager will oversee a multi-functional department of Physical, Occupational, and Massage Therapists, Speech Pathologists, RN Nursing Supervisors, RN Case Manager, Registered CRRNs, and support staff. Leading this diverse team means that the Director of Inpatient Rehabilitation Nursing will play a pivotal role in both the clinical and operational aspects of this department.

 Working in collaboration with Medical Surgical Nursing Staff to improve and support the continuum of care, the Inpatient and Outpatient Therapy Director will plan and evaluate patient readiness and acuity for a diverse set of rehabilitation options. You will actively plan and evaluate departmental staff, implementing performance improvement policies, corrective procedures, and develop recognition programs.

Administratively, the Nursing Director of Rehab and Outpatient Therapy at this community hospital will take on a diverse set of roles and responsibilities. You will develop, review, and adhere to monthly and annual budget guidelines, making course corrections with a strong correlation to census metrics. To keep care initiatives properly aligned, you will also assist in maintaining the patient database, assigning follow-up when necessary, and ensuring the continued care of your patients.
