Summary:
Insures maximum efficiency in performance of room attendants to acquire and maintain immaculate guest room accommodations, surrounding areas and all public areas.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
To ensure rooms and corridors are prepared for arrival and continued stay of hotel guests, commensurate with hotel standards.
Provides training and coaching to both current and new employees.
Assigns and ensures all keys are signed for by GRAs and house persons and are recovered accordingly.
Ensures standardization and quality of all work done by providing continual supervision of GRAs and house persons via room inspections and workstation inspections.
Ensures accurate records for guest room areas and hallways in need of repair.
Responsible for accurate daily paperwork for rooms that refuse service or request late service.
Responsible for Lost & Found items to be turned into proper authority, and to report any accidents to security.
Ensures expeditious turn-in of clean rooms through computer phone system.
Enforces procedures concerning bloodborne pathogens, ADA, Hazcom and chemicals.
Enforces all Rules and Regulations, policies, and procedures.
Personally evaluates rooms and guest area.
Promotes positive quality service standards, including but not limited to courtesy, sincerity, and enthusiasm.
Reports all accidents and problems immediately to Supervisor.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested.

Must have strong written and verbal skillsPositive attitude / Professional manners and appearance at all timesEDUCATION and/or
Experience:
Two years' experience in housekeeping field.
Language Skills:
Must be able to speak and understand English.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Constantly walking (unlimited distances - throughout the day), writing, wrist motion, standing, reading, smelling, handling, hand/eye coordination, holding, sitting, reaching, kneeling, twisting, bending, hearing, pushing/pulling (demonstrating new equipment:
approximately 10 - 150lbs, unlimited times whenever demonstrating new items) while evaluating employees' performances, issuing disciplinary action, and making sure that all areas of the Hotel/Casino are up to Golden Nugget standards.
Knowledge and use of basic reading and writing skills to write maintenance repairs, equipment repair orders, disciplinary action.
Must be able to communicate with employees and understand procedures.
Mental alertness to achieve high level of accuracy in completing tasks.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed indoors, in a climate-controlled environment, occasionally having to check outside work areas (hot/cold/windy temps.
).
