Job Description
Summary:
Maintain standards of excellence throughout the hotel which includes cleaning of all public areas.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:

Sweep, vacuum, mop, wash and clean all debris from floor.
.
Pick up loose trash in all areas and dispose of it to central receptacle.
.
Wipe out ashtrays and replace missing ones.
.
Cleaning of slot machines, carousels and stools.
All gaming tables and chairs.
.
Signing in and out for keys, radios and equipment on daily basis.
.
Bloodborne calls.
.
Practice positive customer relations.
.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested.
Supervisory
Responsibilities:
None
Qualifications:
6 months experience preferred Housekeeping related work.
High school education preferred.
Minimum age requirement is 21.
Education and/or
Experience:
GED High School Diploma.
Mathematical Skills:
Basic Math Skills.
Language Skills:
Must be able to speak and understand English.
Physical Demands:
.
Constantly walking unlimited distances all day.
Using wrist motions, bending, stooping, pushing/pulling:
vacuum approximately 20 lbs, soiled linen from cart to linen chute, approximately 20- 150lbs, soiled linen from chute to hamper, approximately 20 lbs.
All day unlimited times, handliling, liftiing/carrying trash, approximately 10 lbs, iron/ironing boards, approximately 15 lbs soiled linen from maid cart, approximately 20-150lbs, bedspreads and draperies approximately 20 lbs, unlimited times throughout the day, reaching, twisting, while sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, washing and cleaning all areas withing reach of the floor, picking up trash,delivering special request items to guest rooms, picking up and loading soiled linen, replenish inventory and guest room amenities, preparing for dry cleaning, and storing bedspreads, draperies and replacing light bulbs.

Knowledge and use of basic reading, writing, color skills to send bedspreads and draperies to be dry cleaned and which rooms they were removed from, keeping track of special requests items delivered to guest rooms and for writing which rooms that lights and filters have been changed.

Must be able to communicate with guests, fellow employees, supervisors and understand procedures.
Works well with others.

Mental alertness to achieve high level of accuracy in completing tasks.
Work Environment:

Work performed indoors in climate-controlled environment.

Hazards:
Exposure to cleaning chemicals and electricity.

Equipment:
Mops, vacuums, chemicals, pen/pencil,paper and beeper/radio.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
